It operates under the Commercial Registration Number (7025411732) and has obtained a CMA license on March 21, 2023, to engage in dealing and asset management activities. What do we need? We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture across applications, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, and development processes. The role is responsible for implementing security controls, identifying and mitigating risks, responding to incidents, and driving security best practices throughout the organization. What are we looking for? 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering roles. Strong knowledge of cloud security, preferably AWS. Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, and vulnerability management solutions. Hands-on experience securing Linux and containerized environments. Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection. Knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and architecture. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security controls. Experience performing vulnerability assessments and security reviews. Strong understanding of IAM, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Knowledge of industry security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and OWASP. Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages. What will you do? Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud and on-premises environments. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing activities. Monitor security events and investigate potential threats and incidents. Lead incident response activities, including containment, remediation, and root cause analysis. Secure CI/CD pipelines and software development processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities. Manage and improve identity and access management (IAM) controls. Implement and maintain endpoint security, network security, and data protection solutions. Review infrastructure and application architectures from a security perspective. Develop security policies, standards, and operational procedures. Support compliance initiatives and security audits. Track security risks and drive remediation efforts across teams. Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Nice to have: Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or high-frequency systems. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, GIAC, or equivalent. Familiarity with cloud-native security platforms and infrastructure-as-code security tools.
