QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience working with security technologies, products and processes
  • Technical understanding of systems, networking, and security analysis
  • Previous experience securing SaaS applications and products
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline/field
  • 5+ years’ experience in SaaS development, security and/or operations
  • AWS security experience
  • Vulnerability management experience
  • Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment experience
  • Experience with Application Security threats and tools including SAST, DAST and SCA
  • Experience with EDR and SIEM platforms
  • Development and/or scripting experience (Powershell, Python, Javascript, etc.)
  • Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure, maintain, and track application security tools
  • Participate in remediation planning and execution of security vulnerabilities in code and infrastructure
  • Work with Security Champions throughout the business to improve and maintain Application Security processes, tools and knowledge
  • Evaluate threats and countermeasures
  • Provide guidance to developers on vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices
  • Perform risk assessments on designs, code and infrastructure
  • Assist in internal and external penetration testing of applications and systems
  • Analyze security events from various platforms: EDR, SIEM, AWS, DLP, etc.
  • Participate in security incident response activities
  • Implement and improve various security projects, individually and with diverse teams
  • Establish and track meaningful KPIs with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Respond to customer inquiries as needed
  • Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for common tasks and workflows
  • Collaborate with other technical and non-technical teams to accomplish goals in Application Security, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management and Incident Response
  • Mentor and develop those less experienced in your subject matter expertise
