This isn't a classic SEO role. And it's not a pure engineering role either. It's SEO + Engineering + AI with ownership, speed, and measurable business impact. The role We're looking for a Senior SEO AI Engineer who understands the realities of modern organic growth, can design and maintain scalable systems, and builds automations, data flows, and AI-powered workflows that hold up in production. Two focus areas: Automation & AI-first Engineering Build workflows, integrations, agents, scripts, and internal tools that solve SEO and organic growth problems permanently—not just once. Organic Growth Operations Collaborate closely with our strategy team to improve technical SEO operations, content systems, reporting, monitoring, prioritization, and decision-making across multiple clients. You won't get a ticket list. You'll get goals, context, and ownership: Find → Build → Measure → Iterate What you'll do Build automations, AI systems & lightweight internal products Automate repetitive SEO and growth workflows (monitoring, reporting, QA, audits, prioritization, content operations, internal processes, etc.) Build on top of our existing infrastructure and internal tooling stack Use AI coding tools as your acceleration layer (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, n8n) to prototype, refactor, test, and document faster Design AI-powered workflows and agents for research, analysis, prioritization, and execution support Keep solutions production-minded: structured outputs, evaluation, quality controls, observability, security, and reliability Build robust pipelines: collect → normalize → validate → enrich → surface Turn tribal knowledge into intelligent systems with clear logic, instructions, and iteration loops We need more than just Claude Projects with SEO skills files and a few MCPs/APIs added in - scalable, secure and robust systems on top of micro automations is what we're after Collaborate with the Organic Growth Team Improve and standardize technical SEO and operational processes Build systems that increase strategist leverage and reduce manual work Develop internal products that improve client delivery quality and scalability Support technical SEO initiatives across enterprise and high-growth B2B clients Help transform complex organic growth challenges into repeatable systems Drive innovation Identify new opportunities for automation and AI adoption Experiment rapidly with emerging technologies and frameworks Continuously improve internal workflows and service delivery Help shape the future of Organic Growth at YOYABA Tech environment Organic Growth Technical SEO, Content Systems, Information Architecture, Internal Linking, Entity SEO, Programmatic SEO AI & Automation n8n, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, MCP, AI Agents Data stack BigQuery, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform Engineering Python, APIs, Webhooks, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript Collaboration Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, Figma What success looks like (first 3–6 months) Noticeably less manual work across strategy and delivery teams 3–6 automations, tools, or AI systems actively used by the team Improved scalability and consistency of client delivery Better monitoring, reporting, and operational visibility across accounts Multiple workflows integrated into the larger YOYABA tech stack and daily operations Measurable efficiency gains and quality improvements Requirements Must-haves Strong technical SEO understanding and experience working with real websites Systems thinking: you naturally think in processes, automation, and scale Hands-on engineering capability: APIs, webhooks, data formats, scripting, or workflow automation Experience with Python and/or JavaScript Ability to build workflows, automations, or internal tools AI-first working style: you actively use AI tools to ship faster and better High ownership and strong problem-solving skills You know when to use a quick n8n workflow for a prototype, and when to write robust, scalable Python code for production. Pragmatic mindset: you focus on business impact rather than technical perfection Nice-to-haves Experience with LLM applications, RAG systems, or AI agents Experience with n8n, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks Experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) Experience building internal products or operational systems Agency experience across multiple clients Experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale content systems This role is probably not for you if You only want to execute SEO tasks.
