We are seeking a Senior SEO Consultant with proven experience in handling SEO crises caused by cybersecurity breaches. The consultant will be responsible for auditing, diagnosing, and recovering the SEO performance of a WordPress website compromised by multiple attacks, as well as developing a long-term protection and recovery strategy. Duties/Tasks to Perform: Conduct a comprehensive site audit focused on identifying the consequences of recent cyberattacks. Detect and document critical SEO issues such as indexing errors, keyword cannibalization, toxic backlinks, broken redirects, and other technical failures. Prepare and clearly present a “damage report” accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical guidance to the internal team during the implementation of recommended fixes. Develop a short, medium, and long-term SEO recovery plan. Recommend preventive technical and structural security measures to avoid future incidents. Expert-level proficiency in Google Search Console: coverage, indexing, performance, error tracking, and validation. Advanced SEO auditing skills: technical, on-page, and off-page. Web development knowledge (ideally PHP, HTML, JS) to detect and fix technical vulnerabilities. Web cybersecurity expertise: ability to identify exploited breaches, eliminate infections, and strengthen the site’s structure. Advanced WordPress management: secure configuration, technical optimization, plugin management. SEO recovery strategy design: focused on restoring rankings, traffic, and domain authority.
