Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Senior SEO Specialist Compensation range: $2,500-3,200 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 8:30 AM - 5 PM AEST, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: Our client is a leading Australian marketing agency. They help businesses grow by turning digital presence into real results. By blending creative strategies with data-driven insights, they craft campaigns that connect with the right audiences and drive measurable impact. Their focus is on understanding each client’s unique goals, delivering clarity, performance, and meaningful growth every step of the way. Role Overview: You will be responsible for SEO strategy, technical reviews, on-page optimisation, content planning, reporting and execution across multiple client accounts. Our clients operate across industries such as finance, trades, professional services, eCommerce, construction, property and local services. You will need to know what matters, what does not and where time should be spent to get the strongest result. Key Responsibilities: Develop SEO strategies and monthly priorities for client accounts Complete technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting performance Review indexing, crawlability, site structure, internal linking, page speed, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps and schema opportunities Complete keyword research, keyword mapping and competitor reviews Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, page structure and website content Plan and write or improve SEO content, including service pages, location pages and blog content Use AI tools to improve research, content planning, content production, reporting and workflow efficiency Review Google Search Console, GA4 and ranking data to identify opportunities and issues Prepare clear monthly SEO updates with insights, actions and next steps Work with the web, design, paid ads and account management teams to implement SEO recommendations Support SEO audits and recommendations for new business opportunities where required At least 3 years experience managing SEO across multiple client accounts Strong technical SEO knowledge Strong on-page SEO and content optimisation skills Strong local SEO experience Experience writing or improving SEO-focused website content Experience using AI tools to work faster and improve output quality Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Google Business Profile Ability to diagnose SEO issues and prioritise what matters Strong written English and clear communication skills Ability to work independently without constant direction Strong attention to detail Commercial understanding of how SEO supports leads, enquiries and sales Nice to have: Experience working with digital marketing agencies Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace or similar platforms Experience supporting website migrations Experience with Australian clients Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
