The Senior SEO Strategist drives the success of SEO projects by combining technical expertise with strong copywriting skills and strategic insight. This role ensures every SEO initiative is grounded in research, best practices, and measurable outcomes that improve visibility and performance.
Working behind the scenes, the Senior SEO Strategist translates client objectives into optimized metadata, engaging on-page content, and detailed SEO roadmaps that strengthen overall strategies. As the agency’s SEO expert and go-to resource, this position balances hands-on SEO delivery with strategic oversight, producing high-quality work while also mentoring team members, refining processes, and keeping our approach aligned with the evolving search landscape.

Responsibilities
  • SEO Strategy Development – Build comprehensive SEO strategies through research, technical audits, keyword analysis, and content planning. Work with our client services team to pitch ideas and educate our clients.
  • Optimization Leadership – Own advanced SEO delivery including technical audits, site architecture improvements, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and ongoing keyword-driven enhancements.
  • Content Creation – Write and optimize SEO-focused content for metadata, landing pages, service pages, and blogs, ensuring copy is effective for both users and search engines.
  • Mentorship & Training – Serve as the go-to SEO expert, leading team trainings, answering questions, and helping the team deepen their SEO knowledge.
  • Collaboration – Partner with Digital Strategists/Specialists and our Account Services team to align SEO recommendations with broader marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Quality Assurance – Review SEO deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with best practices before they move forward to Account Services.
  • Process Development – Create and maintain SEO playbooks, SOPs, and best practices to ensure scalable, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
  • Trend Monitoring – Stay current with algorithm updates and search trends, translating changes into actionable recommendations.
