Description
End-to-end responsibility for planning the O-RAN rollout within a region (RU, DU, transport connections)
Detailed planning and optimization of radio network planning (search areas, site prioritization, transport connections)
Maintenance and updating of the planning databases as well as evaluation of new location offers from TowerCos
Performing RF and interference analyses to ensure network quality and frequency clearances
Development, management and implementation of the regional rollout roadmap – in a fully integrated, prioritized planning approach, coordinated with all relevant stakeholders.
Close collaboration with suppliers, tower companies, system integrators and expansion partners
Responsibility for achieving regional rollout targets (e.g. sites per month/quarter, household coverage, in-house network production) taking into account technical and economic requirements.
Personal commitment and identification in the agile collaboration during regional implementation with changing contacts (TowerCos, city networks, acquisition partners, etc.)
Monitoring and optimization of qualitative KPIs during the commissioning of RAN sites (e.g., first-time right, planning quality)
