Trane is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and committed Service Technician – Chillers & HVAC to join our team. Where is the work: (Location and work mode can be added based on business needs.) What will you do: As a Service Technician, you will ensure efficient commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and customer support for chillers and HVAC systems. Your responsibilities include: • Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems. • Repairing all types of HVAC equipment. • Conducting customer follow-ups and attending scheduled meetings. • Coordinating manpower and parts requirements with the Service Coordinator. • Leading weekly team discussions on safety, site audits, and backlog updates. • Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator with monthly plans. • Handling all models of chillers and low-side equipment complaints per guidelines. • Performing timely preventive maintenance (PPM) as per company SOP. • Conducting RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL. • Ensuring compliance with Trane’s EHS standards. • Managing customer service requirements professionally. • Generating service leads through customer interactions. • Ensuring high-quality, smooth, and timely completion of service tasks. • Submitting daily reports to the office and ASM. • Sharing service reports with the deployer, including parts requirements. • Maintaining a valid 2-wheeler/4-wheeler driving license. • Ensuring adherence to safety and vehicle audit requirements. • Applying hands-on experience in chiller installation, warranty work, and AMC services. • Using MS Office, email, and internet tools for documentation and communication. What you will bring: (Skills & Competencies) • Strong technical knowledge of chillers and HVAC systems. • Hands-on field experience in chiller installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Working knowledge of MS Office, email, and internet applications. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with service teams. • Commitment to quality, safety, and operational standards. Qualifications: • Graduation, Diploma, or ITI in Mechanical, R&AC, Electrical, or Electronics. • Minimum 5+ years of on-site experience working with chillers. • Strong technical understanding of chiller systems and HVAC equipment.
