Description Summary The Senior Service & Install Technician will work within Lely’s premium distribution channel representing Lely to farmers to create a profitable, enjoyable, and sustainable future in farming and ensure the highest customer satisfaction and efficiency for farmers in compliance with Lely’s strategy and vision for the farm of the future. The Senior Service & Install Technician is responsible for engaging customers in long-term relationships, the service and maintenance of the Lely product portfolio of our customers, and leading a dedicated team of Service Technicians to provide first-line support to resolve issues, the complete and timely installation and technical start-up of the Lely products purchased by our customers and ensuring the service/ installation activities meet the Lely standards and the customer’s expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Customer interaction & satisfaction • Ensures our customers are fully serviced in terms of advice, service and maintenance. · Monitors the results of customer satisfaction/NPS and the results of individuals related to service management, handles complaints, informs technicians about possible solutions and ensures follow-up. · Carries our preventative and corrective maintenance of Lely equipment, compressors, and peripherals · Takes care of mandatory annual inspections and checks, the installation of Lely Hardware, and firmware updates · Provides 24/7 customer support and assistance during on-call periods, diagnoses breakdowns, and organizes quick repairs onsite or by phone · Take care of the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new and used Lely products, including hardware installations, compressors, and peripherals · Create routing for barn products · Manage the testing phase and to make adjustments once the installation has been completed · Provide training and technical support to the customer during the start-up of Barn products Business support & administration · Timely administration of parts used and work carried out · Service Van: Manage the spare parts and keep van organized and clean · Ensuring handover declaration is signed by the customer and forwarding it to the Lely Center Business Support Department Stakeholder Management · Identify structural issues and possible product improvements, communicating information from the field to the Lely Center Manager or relevant stakeholders in the Lely Center · Identify cross and upselling opportunities, communicate feedback and customer information to relevant Lely Center Colleagues · Ensure feedback and customer information are communicated to relevant Lely Center colleagues · Participate in regular technical team meetings and share best practices and knowledge Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
