We are now looking for a Senior Service Specialist to join our newly established Agreement Management and Capital to Service team. This is a unique opportunity to join the group of experts that drive customer success through proactive lifecycle services and world class maintenance solutions. Who is the professional we are looking for? In this role, you will act as a trusted expert in annual maintenance of pulp mills and/or power plants and as a lead for service agreements. You will lead, execute, and deliver customer services. The scope may cover service agreements, annual and maintenance shutdowns, expert field services, and warranty projects. You are confident in building strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to enhance customer lifecycle services and their plant and process development by taking proactive approach to customers’ current and future needs. As the senior expert, you will take on a lead role by guiding and coordinating agreement team activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication between customers and internal stakeholders. We expect you to deliver world-class service both on-site and remotely, ensuring timely and accurate execution. Your preferred place of work will be at Tampere but also other Valmet locations in Vantaa, Pori, Lapua, Lappeenranta or Kempele can be considered. In this role you will report to the Senior Manager, Operations, Finland & Baltics. You are organized and you possess customer-oriented mindset. In addition, the qualified candidate is expected to have: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering sciences of relevant field A strong technical experience and competence in pulp, recovery, and/or energy technologies Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in sales, project management, maintenance, and/or production management roles Deep understanding of the Pulp and/or Energy industry and strong experience of customer value chain Previous professional experience in service agreements, especially warranty case agreement experience is highly appreciated Proven ability to work independently in multi-project environment and juggle several items in the air simultaneously Proven track record of strong commercial negotiation skills and excellent networking abilities both internally and externally Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English; other languages are a plus Willingness and readiness to travel Experience in leading teams or coordinating cross-functional activities is considered a strong asset We offer Valmet offers an inspiring and challenging position, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to our success.
