The Role As a Sulco Service Technician, you will be providing hands on periodic maintenance, installation and breakdown support for our range of world leading brands from tyre balancers and aligners through to heavy truck brake testing equipment and vehicle lifts. Full factory training will be provided on product support with ongoing regular professional development, Sulco will supply all tools free to a trade quality standard from leading tool brands including Milwaukee, Knipex, Wera, Genius and many others or you can bring your own. While this role may be a little outside your experience if you have been working on cars or buildings, your skills are transferrable, and we would be very keen to talk to you. Tasks include: Preparing new automotive equipment for delivery and installation Periodic maintenance (servicing) Breakdown support and technical diagnostic trouble shooting Repair work including mechanical plus fitting work, low voltage electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic work Modern facilities, clean workspaces with all tools provided free Travel all over NZ to support our service agent network Skills & Experience Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, if you can use a spanner, hand tools or a multi-meter we want to hear from you. Full training for those with aptitude will be provided Presentable with good communication and English literacy skills Have a can do attitude and willing to learn and improve through experience Team player Drivers licence with a Class 2 or better an advantage, but not essential Looking after you: We are committed to ensuring our people are well looked after.
