Join our Data Analytics Platform team as a Senior Service/U Designer to contribute to a global platform that fuels many data-driven and AI applications developed at ING. You will be part of the Design Chapter within the Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics (WBAA) Tribe, and you will collaborate closely with PM, Uers, and tech teams to eplore, understand, and simplify the compleities of the platform. From discovery, journey mapping and service blueprints, to final U designs and testing, you will be deeply involved in every stage of the design process.As part of the WBAA Design Chapter, you will also have opportunities to contribute to a variety of other projects. We are looking for someone with a versatile set of skillsand comfortable working projects end-to-end.

BONUS SKILLS

  • A foundational understanding of data analytics and how it informs product design.
  • Familiarity with AI initiatives and their practical applications in financial services.
  • A strong grasp of business analysis and product strategy, with the ability to connect design decisions to broader business goals.
  • Familiarity and or eperience working with Ant Design System.

Responsibilities
  • Discovery & Research:Lead user research initiatives—such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests—to uncover pain points and identify feature opportunities.
  • Service Design: Collaborate with users and stakeholders to process, map, and understand the technical compleities behind new features and platform changes. You will run discovery workshops and align insights with business objectives to deliver service blueprints, customer journeys and personas.
  • U Design & Prototyping: Define and design the platform interface with high-fidelity prototypes in Figma using an established design system. Rapidly iterate on concepts to test and validate ideas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other Uers, developers, product managers, Data Scientists, and business analysts to co-create solutions that are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product strategy.
  • Data-Driven Design: Apply user feedback, and behavioral data to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user eperience.
  • Documentation & Communication:Clearly document research findings, customer journeys, and service blueprints to ensure alignment and consistency across teams.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation:Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies to elevate design quality and push the boundaries of user eperience.
