QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Blend ITSM expertise with hands-on ServiceNow administration to deliver thoughtful, scalable, and people-focused solutions that support long-term platform health.
  • Approach process and solution design with empathy, creativity, and a strong ability to resolve challenges in a complex ServiceNow environment.
  • Work effectively with a wide range of people, facilitating inclusive workshops, gathering insights, and encouraging rapid prototyping and feedback in an agile team environment.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to platform integrity and cyber security, ensuring documentation is clear, consistent, and accessible.
  • Be open to learning and growth, maintaining relevant certifications and developing your skills to support evolving needs and collaborative success.
    This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum NV-1 level security clearance.
Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The ServiceNow Administrator plays a key role in supporting our ServiceNow Platform to achieve organisational and customer outcomes within operational sustainment contracts. Reporting to the ServiceNow Team Leader, you will lead and contribute to improvement initiatives, working closely with others to translate business and technical requirements into practical, user-centred solutions. This role values input into technical governance, IT Service Management, and operational best practices.
You’ll help shape a supportive and sustainable operating model, ensuring successful go-lives and a positive user experience. With at least three years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience, you’ll feel confident converting business needs into impactful and effective platform capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow components, modules, integrations, and workflows, while supporting training, change adoption, documentation, and self-service initiatives.
  • Align platform functionality with business goals, encouraging the use of low-code/no-code tools and promoting inclusive, sustainable automation practices.
  • Support platform reliability and compliance by working collaboratively with architects, cyber security, and technical teams to ensure secure and resilient solutions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by leading reporting and analysis activities, mentoring colleagues, and sharing knowledge to uplift team capability.
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to co-design requirements and deliver outcomes that align with strategic goals and the ServiceNow roadmap.
