About Us: DLS Technology Corporation [DLS] is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and value to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Architect who is an independent consultant to join our dynamic team for a 6 months long project. DLS has a client who is looking for a certified Service Now Architect to perform the duties as outlined below.
Who You Are: The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions that meet the needs of our client. This role requires a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its capabilities, limitations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management (ITSM) and a proven track record of successfully delivering ServiceNow projects. Service Now certifications are a definite asset. This is a full-time contract for approximately 6 months. The work can be done remotely; however, the client will require the work to be performed in Canada. The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are required. Other recognized Service Now product certifications would be a definite asset
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide API, and Business Rules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Design and architect ServiceNow solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and others.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Mentor and train junior team members on ServiceNow best practices and development techniques.
