JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead and support our enterprise ServiceNow platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of direct ServiceNow development, customization, and implementation expertise. This role is instrumental in designing, building, and enhancing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations, contributing to the overall efficiency and digital transformation of IT service delivery. U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to client or organizational policy requirements. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of overall software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and implementation.
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification required.
  • Proven experience designing and customizing ServiceNow applications and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL frameworks.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies, including SAML, Active Directory, and LDAP.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to meet business requirements.
  • Build and enhance Service Catalog items, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow Flow Designer or Workflow Editor.
  • Lead the implementation of new ServiceNow modules and updates to existing modules in alignment with ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, SAML, LDAP, Active Directory, or other protocols.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design specifications, configuration changes, and technical procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to change control policies and secure development standards.
