Description Senior Services Coordinator Location: Pittsburgh, PA Schedule: 20-24 hours per week Arbors Management has been in the business for over 40 years and supports communities throughout Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio. We are seeking a compassionate, organized Community Resource Specialist to serve as a bridge between our senior residents and the community resources they need to thrive. If you are an advocate at heart who enjoys planning events and helping others "age in place," we want to meet you. The Role (What You’ll Do) Resident Advocacy: Provide guidance on Medicare, Medicaid, and supportive social services. Community Connection: Partner with local care providers and hospitals to ensure smooth transitions for residents returning home. Event Planning: Schedule educational speakers and on-site classes to keep residents engaged and informed. Communication: Create and distribute monthly property newsletters, brochures, and welcome packets. Documentation: Maintain secure, confidential files and document interactions with residents and families. What You Bring Experience: A Degree in Social Work (or a related field) preferred or relevant work experience. Communication: Excellent writing skills and a "people-first" communication style. Compassion: The ability to build trust with seniors while maintaining professional boundaries. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in computer programs and reporting software for daily documentation. Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Must be able to work independently and manage a self-directed schedule.
Responsibilities
