OVERVIEW:

Advance Gov Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer to support development, customization, and optimization of SharePoint-based solutions for a government or enterprise environment in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and implementing complex SharePoint applications and workflows, with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in SharePoint development, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and integration with Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath (legacy), and modern SharePoint Online solutions.
  • Experience with source control and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience working in a government or highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, California.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of custom SharePoint solutions (2016, 2019, and/or SharePoint Online/Office 365).
  • Design and implement SharePoint site architecture, including site collections, subsites, libraries, lists, and metadata structures.
  • Develop custom web parts, features, event receivers, and workflows using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Integrate SharePoint with third-party applications and enterprise systems using REST APIs and web services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint configuration, permissions, and performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and contribute to SharePoint governance and best practices.
