THE OPPORTUNITY Are you an experienced shepherd or someone with some experience working outdoors looking to start your career in farming? As a shepherd general, you’ll be part of a team, working closely with the farm team, who will support your growth and development. ABOUT US Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand. Our purpose is to lead the delivery of innovative and sustainable agriculture solutions for future generations. THE FARM Wilanda Downs is a 1679 ha effective finishing breeding hill country station with approximately 420 breeding cows and calves, 7,500 ewes and finishing 15,000 lambs a year. Wilanda Downs is situated 80km northwest of Invercargill and approximately 40 minutes from Winton. The farm is well-resourced and offers an excellent mix of pastoral and cropping operations, and well-developed infrastructure, Wilanda Downs provides a great balance of professional development and rural lifestyle.
