• Provide training and assistance to team members, ensuring optimal service standards and fostering a supportive, collaborative environment.
• Understand recycling operations, recognise recyclable items and embrace the need to reduce landfill.
• Liaise with the Recycling Manager to assist contractors, external suppliers and/or council or government representatives as required to ensure their requests are met.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, policies and continuous improvement processes to uphold high standards and drive operational efficiency.
• Manage traffic, environmental, and safety plans at the local level to ensure staff operate within required boundaries and maintain a safe workplace.
• Develop and manage staff rosters, ensuring resource availability aligns with business needs.
• Document activities accurately and maintain accounting information to ensure a reliable audit trail and efficient record-keeping.
