Our Networking IC Product Engineering Department is seeking for an experienced Silicon Photonics Device Process Engineer to join our dynamic silicon-photonics characterization and foundry team. This is an outstanding chance to create a significant impact on the development of the next generation of networking chips in an inspiring, collaborative environment. What you'll be doing: Monitoring silicon photonics device yield and performance o ensure flawless productization, and outstanding quality. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, characterization&validation, design, product engineering and process development teams to provide crucial feedback to Foundry process integration. Analyzing complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive product improvements and innovations. Work with the product and test engineering to develop corelation between process and device performance parameters. Mentoring junior engineers and encouraging an inclusive, collaborative environment that drives outstanding team performance. What we need to see: MSc or PhD in Materials Engineering Photonics or Physics with Silicon Photonics related field of study 8+ years' experience or a thesis on the subject of silicon photonics devices or manufacturing. Strong analytical skills with a track record of solving complex technical challenges. Outstanding communication abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present findings. Ways to stand out from the crowd: FAB process or device engineering background Post-silicon validation or electrical characterization experience. Strong knowledge of laser diode physics, fiber optic technology, and silicon photonics technology and devices. Experience with Python or similar scripting tools for data analysis and lab automation.
