The Role

You will:

• Derive and implement simulation models representing spacecraft components and systems.
• Test and validate component models against system and physical test data.
• Maintain and develop overall spacecraft system simulations.
• Contribute to software used for model evaluation, engineering analysis and automated reporting.
• Perform structured software testing across simulation implementations.
• Maintain simulation code structure and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering specialists to derive and validate models.
• Perform system identification using component and system test data.
• Support engineering teams using simulation models for flight-control software verification and concept studies.
• Continuously improve simulation methodologies, tools and technical concepts.

Your Background

We are interested in candidates with:

• A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• 5+ years' experience within the space/aerospace industry.
• Strong experience modelling or simulating complex spacecraft or avionics systems.
• Experience developing and validating engineering models.
• Understanding of software development and structured software testing.
• Matlab/Simulink or comparable modelling and simulation experience.
• Experience with SimTG would be highly advantageous.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• German would be beneficial.
