Job Description
A Senior Simulation Specialist is a senior member of the simulation education team, responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing advanced simulation-based learning activities within the medical simulation center. This role blends clinical expertise, educational facilitation, technical operations management, and strategic development to ensure the delivery of world-class experiential learning for medical students, residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. The Senior Simulation Specialist will: • Serve as a certified instructor for Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). • Lead the operation and integration of high-fidelity simulation mannequins, task trainers, and immersive audiovisual systems. • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the simulation center, including scheduling, equipment readiness, and resource allocation. • Act as a key liaison between faculty, students, and technical staff, ensuring seamless delivery of simulation activities aligned with institutional curricula. • Play a major role in SSH (Society for Simulation in Healthcare) accreditation preparation, compliance, and quality improvement processes. • Design, develop, and deliver innovative simulation scenarios, workshops, and interprofessional training programs. The role requires strong leadership, advanced technical skills, in-depth knowledge of healthcare education, and the ability to manage complex educational and operational demands simultaneously.
