Report into the Resident Engineer and Assist with administering the contract and managing the contractors
Oversee junior Architects on the project
Review and comment on Contractor’s submittals for the architecture and other relevant information (shop drawing/ materials/ method statement / QAQC/ tech information.)
Ensure compliance with the architectural design intent, contract specifications, and drawings.
Carry out regular site inspections and monitor the works for the architectural information.
Report on deficiency corrections on site in relation to the architecture.
Maintain/ monitor Site QA/ QC procedures for the architecture.
Carry out review of architectural submittals and ensure compliance with contract specifications / requirements, design intent, and drawings.
Mark-up the design/ site changes on working drawings for the architectural information.
Liaise with other disciplines for co-ordination issues and attend technical meetings/ discussions to resolve as issue arises in relation to the architectural information.
Inspect the contractors off and on site Mock-ups, tests and quality control samples.
