Senior Site Architect

THE SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 10 years’ experience as a Senior Site Architect
• Degree qualified
• 15 years min in Architecture in Sydney
• Revit user preferred
• Permanent residency a must

• Report into the Resident Engineer and Assist with administering the contract and managing the contractors
• Oversee junior Architects on the project
• Review and comment on Contractor’s submittals for the architecture and other relevant information (shop drawing/ materials/ method statement / QAQC/ tech information.)
• Ensure compliance with the architectural design intent, contract specifications, and drawings.
• Carry out regular site inspections and monitor the works for the architectural information.
• Report on deficiency corrections on site in relation to the architecture.
• Maintain/ monitor Site QA/ QC procedures for the architecture.
• Carry out review of architectural submittals and ensure compliance with contract specifications / requirements, design intent, and drawings.
• Mark-up the design/ site changes on working drawings for the architectural information.
• Liaise with other disciplines for co-ordination issues and attend technical meetings/ discussions to resolve as issue arises in relation to the architectural information.
• Inspect the contractors off and on site Mock-ups, tests and quality control samples.
• Review As-Built drawings
