You will provide technical expertise, mentor junior engineers, and serve as the key point of communication between site teams and project management. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior engineers and site personnel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety management in construction environments.
• CSCS Card (White or Black) required.

• Lead site engineering activities and ensure works are carried out per design specifications and project requirements.
• Set out and establish control points for various foundations and structural works.
• Read, interpret, and maintain construction, topographical, and rebar drawings and specifications
• Maintain site diaries, quality assurance documents, and provide as-built information
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, resolving engineering issues promptly.
• Address and resolve complex technical problems that arise during the planning and construction phases
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction, ensuring work is performed according to the design
• Mentor and train junior engineers and site staff to promote continuous professional development.
• Implement and maintain a high standard of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
• Report project progress and key issues to senior management and stakeholders.
