Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage the engineering aspects of construction projects to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Team Management: Supervise site engineering teams and coordinate with key project stakeholders.
  • Plan Review: Interpret and review project plans, specifications, and drawings for accuracy.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Project Progress: Monitor project timelines, addressing any potential delays or issues.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and surveys to uphold high standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Site Engineer, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
  • Engineering Tools: Proficiency in setting out, surveying, and using engineering software/tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently and making on-site decisions.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Certifications: Valid Safe Pass and relevant industry certifications.
