For a major infrastructure project in the field of energy transition, we are looking for an experienced HVDC Senior Site Manager / Site Supervisor (m/f/d).

Your tasks

Site management & project control

• Overall responsibility for the construction site activities of an HVDC converter station
• Representing the project to the client on site
• Management and coordination of the construction site team and external subcontractors
• Ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time and cost-effective execution of all work

Mobilization & Construction Site Organization

• Planning and coordination of the construction site setup
• Organization of the mobilization of personnel, materials and subcontractors
• Coordination with internal departments and project teams

Occupational safety & environmental protection

• Ensuring compliance with all labor, environmental and safety regulations
• Review of risk assessments and method statements
• Promoting an active safety culture on the construction site

Leadership & Coordination

• Management and coordination of interdisciplinary teams from construction management, quality assurance, assembly and occupational safety
• Leading construction meetings and coordination appointments
• Central contact person for customers, partners and authorities

Quality, Costs & Deadlines

• Monitoring of quality, budget and schedules
• Regular reporting to the project management
• Identification and management of risks and opportunities
• Development of solutions for technical and logistical challenges

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of: - Electrical Engineering
• Civil engineering
• or comparable qualification
• At least 7 years of professional experience in construction or project management
• Experience as a construction manager, senior construction manager or site manager in: - substation projects
• HVDC/HVDC projects
• Power plants
• High-voltage systems
• Oil-&-Gas-Projection
• Solid knowledge of construction site management for large infrastructure projects
• Strong EHS awareness (Environment, Health & Safety)
• Leadership skills and assertiveness
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Fluent German and English skills
