Description

Our client, a Tier 1 Construction company in Ireland, are currently recruiting a Senior Site Manager for their project in Rosslare, Wexford. The project involves overseeing the construction of a large number of structures on site, with the project lasting 2+ years.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Irish Driver’s License, Safepass, and Manual Handling certification.
  • IOSH Managing Safety for Construction Managers certification (preferred).
  • Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree or trade certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Construction sector with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented with proven leadership, problem-solving, and team-building expertise.
  • Experience in report preparation, records management, time management, and scheduling.

  • Ensure teams have the necessary approved permits for infrastructure works.
  • Track resources, hours worked, and bill of materials to support commercial decisions.
  • Investigate and report accidents or incidents promptly.
  • Ensure delegated work aligns with client specifications, legislation, and technical, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and promote compliance.
  • Identify recurring issues or deviations, contributing to continuous process improvement.
