Description

Vita Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of civil, structural, and architectural works on a complex construction site. This role is responsible for managing project delivery, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise and leadership to drive project milestones and site operations.

The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including design development, consultant engagement, authority approvals, procurement, contract administration, and reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate technical services, site operations, and construction activities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of project scope, fee agreements, claims processing, deliverables, and variations.
  • Ensure site safety protocols are implemented and maintained in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Support the development of construction sequencing, methodology, and staging plans to optimise site productivity and resource allocation.
  • Maintain strong communication and negotiation capabilities to support client relationships and resolve site-level challenges effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role with a main contractor, preferably in large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical construction projects.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Architectural Studies, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction project delivery, with a focus on planning, conceptual design, and execution of CSA works.
  • Strong understanding of modern building materials, construction principles, and integrated building services systems.
  • Prior experience in refinery, petrochemical, process, or pharmaceutical plant construction is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of project teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of estimating, scheduling, field supervision, contract administration, procurement, and project reporting.
