Description

Toronto based Infrastructure company specializing CIPP (Cure In Place Pipe) seeking a full time Site Supervisor. Working closely with Project Mangers, consultants, sub-trades and client representatives. With a focus on safety, schedule, quality of work, budget and client services the candidate must be able work within a team and be a team leader on-site.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of progressive site supervisor/superintendent in Civil infrastructure specializing in municipal water systems
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle with valid auto insurance, and the ability to travel to multiple job sites throughout Ontario
  • Degree or diploma in a construction related field an asset
  • Clear understanding of drawings and contract documents with the ability to identify and mitigate opportunities
  • Strong communication and time management skills, including conflict resolution and problem solving
  • Working knowledge of; Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
Responsibilities
  • Work shifts are daily or nightly as required by the project
  • Maintain and enforce all Health and Safety policies specific to the work, company, site and applicable jurisdictional laws
  • Effectively communicate with Project Manager on daily activities, revenue, expenditures, and proactively forecast potential site issues.
  • Maintain order and safety of site and all workers/visitors to site
  • Supervise, direct, coach, coordinate and plan activities of site personnel, sub- trades, and other contractors. Enforcing company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proactively review project schedule, man-power availability and material availability frequently and report any concerns to the Project Manager and Operations Managers
  • Manage and organize all required municipal and consultant inspections
  • Complete deficiencies in a timely manner prior to demobilizing from site
  • Attend daily/weekly site meetings as required
    . Willingness to travel - Outside of the GTA and Province as required
