Qualnet is looking for a Senior Site Technician with experience with multiple carriers and manufacturers.
The Senior Site technician will be travelling on a regular basis. Most of our sites are in Ontario and Quebec within an average distance of 100-400km from our offices. Per-diem is offered.
Duties: Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the senior site technician is responsible for the projects that are assigned to him, as per the instructions and prescribed deadlines, while taking into account our client’s different procedures.

Most of the work consists in

• installing and termination of different types of cables (DC Power, Ethernet, alarms, RF, coaxial and fiber)
• Performing a variety of testing (Sweeps, BER, OTDR, Ethernet, RFC2544, etc.)
• installing, programming and commissioning of different types of Switches and Node
• Experience required with multiple carrier and manufacturer microwave commissioning, testing, integration and upgrade

The Senior Site Technician must make sure he has all the necessary material in order to complete his projects. The company’s equipment is under his responsibility and he must ensure its proper use, condition and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
