We are partners with leading edge software platforms including Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Alteryx, Collibra, and Salesforce. What we are looking for Senior data engineer to join our team and work alongside one of our banking clients. Initial 6 month full time contract with strong potential to extend. Hybrid model of 2 days in the CBD office. Must Have 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including SnowPipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowflake architecture concepts Demonstrated experience building and maintaining Apache Iceberg tables, ideally Iceberg-backed Snowflake external tables Production-level experience with dbt (Core or Cloud), including model design, testing, documentation, and CI/CD integration Proficiency in Python and/or SQL for pipeline development and data manipulation Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated storage services Highly Desirable Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex Code (CoCo) or other AI-assisted SQL/code generation tooling within a cloud data platform Location Sydney, New South Wales Employment Type Contractor
