Older People’s Services has 8 residential care homes across Fife, with a team based in each service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional enthusiastic Senior Social Care Worker to join our staffing team in Fife Council’s Residential and Day Services at Lindsay House (Lumphinnans), and Napier House (Glenrothes). Preference will be taken into consideration and discussed at the interview stage.
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People; with experience of care in a supervisory role, within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The Senior Social Care Worker is a supervisory role, with a focus on leading and coaching the care staff team and ensuring that best practice and high standards of care delivery are achieved daily. The role also requires the organising, chairing, and attending staff and other relevant meetings, contributing to service development and finalising reports. Whilst this post is based at one of our residential homes, our service expects all it’s staff move to other units to provide support when required.
