Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll be part of a dedicated area-based team helping deliver support and care plans for children and young people. From liaising with external agencies to recording essential case notes, you’ll provide practical and emotional support that directly contributes to improved outcomes for families.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support social workers in delivering care and intervention plans
  • Liaise with schools, healthcare providers, and local services on behalf of families
  • Carry out direct work with children and their families where appropriate
  • Record casework accurately and in line with council procedures
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings and multi-agency discussions
  • Promote inclusion, equality, and respect in all aspects of your work
