ABOUT THE ROLE

30 hours per week, secondment cover, Senior Social Work Practitioner in the Alternative Care Team.
The Alternative Care Team supports foster carers, kinship carers, supported lodgings hosts and fostering families carers. This post would be focused on Transitions to Adulthood for young people in alternative care.
The post holder will manage their own caseload, which will include supporting carers and undertaking fostering assessments and viabilities. You will be able to evidence a strong ability to analyse information and formulate outcome focused plans for children and their families. Applicants must be confident in writing professional assessments/reports as well as presenting their evidence verbally. Applicants need to have very strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise their work effectively and in a timely way.
