ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Renal team at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. This permanent part-time role offers a unique opportunity to step into a senior position where you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families navigating the complexities of renal care, including dialysis and transplantation.
In this role, you’ll provide high-level psychosocial support through comprehensive assessments, counselling, and advocacy, all within a culturally respectful, person-centred framework. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure care is coordinated and responsive to individual needs. Your clinical expertise will support complex decision-making, while your leadership will drive service improvement through mentoring, research, and quality initiatives. We’re seeking someone who brings both heart and skill to their work—someone flexible, knowledgeable, and committed to ethical practice, with strong communication and documentation skills.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to a team dedicated to transforming the patient experience in renal care, we’d love to hear from you.
