Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Analyst within Cloud Data Engineering, you will be responsible for evaluating business requests to determine feasibility, identify options, and recommend solutions for new software development or enhancements. You will interpret, document and maintain customer requirements, convert them into conceptual and logical designs, identify use cases, create Jira stories for assignment, build and execute test cases, and conduct data validation and product testing. You will be responsible for writing SQL queries to perform analysis, data validation and functional testing to support our products. You will regularly schedule meetings, collaborate with business and technical teams, and help drive the success of our project and the team. You will participate in shaping our product roadmaps and ensure the delivery of high quality products. As a Senior Analyst on the team, you will be in a position to provide instruction and guidance to less tenured team members on new tasks and assignments.
In this role, you will be a critical team member, collaborating cross-functionally with software engineers, business teams, other IT teams, leadership and participating in Scrum meetings and ceremonies. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically curious, and efficiency-driven individual, as much of your time will be focused on supporting our strategic initiatives in Cloud Data Engineering. You will also work with the team to support existing processes and offer ideas for process improvement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential. To be successful, you will also need to demonstrate strong personal ownership and accountability, relationship management, team building, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, change management and a personal passion for data.
This role is part of the Cloud Data Engineering Vehicle domain team. While the domain team is Vehicle, this role will involve working on projects assigned to this team that may cross into the Rental, Revenue Management or Business Admin domains based upon project assignment.
