Description

We’re hiring a Senior Software Architect to shape Pango’s end-to-end architecture across domains, services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and platform foundations — while guiding how AI and automation integrate into our systems. You will lead high-impact architectural initiatives that shape the future of our products and platforms. You will also define secure, scalable patterns for AI-driven workflows and integrations, influencing the technical direction of Pango and enabling the next generation of product capabilities. This is a high-impact role influencing how Pango builds, scales, and delivers software across the entire company. Responsibilities Own the architecture across Pango’s platforms, services, and domains. Guide Pango’s approach to AI integration (ADLC), defining patterns and architectural guardrails. Define standards for microservices, APIs, integrations, domain boundaries, reliability, and data flows. Lead high-level solution design across multiple business and technical areas. Own AWS architecture: scalability, resilience, networking, security, observability, and cost optimization. Drive architecture reviews and cross-company engineering decisions. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies with meaningful business impact. Build and evolve the Engineering Platform (templates, paved roads, tooling, SDKs, inner-source foundations). Collaborate across R&D, Product, DevOps, Security, BI, Marketing, and Sales. Mentor senior engineers and promote best practices. Requirements 10+ years strong hands-on software engineering experience alongside a solid understanding of infrastructure (+IAC) and cloud-native environments. At least 4 years as an Software Architect\ Principle Engineer\ Staff Engineer. Deep expertise in AWS and cloud-native design. Strong engineering background with experience in modern programming languages (our stack includes .NET and Python). Proven experience designing large-scale, multi-domain distributed systems. Experience defining API boundaries and secure, reliable integration patterns. Ability to design shared standards, reusable components, and platform-wide foundations. Strong understanding of reliability, observability, quality gates, and production readiness. Cost-aware architectural decision-making. Strong communication and leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams. Advantages Experience building engineering platforms or developer tooling. Experience with inner-source models. Exposure to AI/LLM systems or automation workflows — or motivation to grow in this area. Familiarity with ADLC, LLMOps, or AI governance. Experience with automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, Airplane). Background in data/analytics architecture.
