Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Location: Brossard, QC J4Z 0N5
Pay Rate: CAD $59 per hr
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
Hours: General Day Shift

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related program from an accredited institution
• Over 10 years of experience in software development on the Windows platform
• At least 6 years of recent experience in C#/.NET development (LINQ, WCF, Entity, Async, WPF)
• At least 2 years of experience in C++
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming, including use of design patterns
• Experience with databases and SQL (MS Access is a plus)
• Experience communicating with and supporting external clients / customer-focused mindset.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with modern software development tools and methodologies including Git, Jira, and MS Visual Studio
• Knowledge of IP protocols (TCP/UDP/IP)
• Knowledge of VBA is a plus
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills across cultural and organizational boundaries
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with technical innovation and creative solutions
• Proven design capabilities
• Experience working with global teams
• Experience with Agile development processes and working in an Agile team environment (SCRUM or similar frameworks)
