Our Animatronics team have worked on a number of great projects - and we're seeking expressions of interest as we prepare for what comes next... Job Description We're keen to hear from Senior Software Developers keen to enhance animatronic performance systems. In this role you will contribute to the core software systems that control our humanoid and creature animatronics, working closely with a passionate team of mechanical, software, and electrical engineers. Working closely with a team of mechanical, software and electrical engineers to create world-leading humanoid and creature robots, our Senior Software Developers: Develop, implement and refine robust core software systems that control our humanoid and creature robots Integrate core software systems with animation and interactive systems Ensure software is well-constructed, thoroughly tested and capable of meeting all requirements You can find out more details in our position description here. We're seeking expressions of interest from people who have the following skills Proficiency in Rust, Python, C/C++ and Linux CLI. Experience with Git and CI/CD for code quality and release management. Comfortable working across high level and low level/embedded environments Familiarity with communication protocols such as Can/CanFD, RS485 and EtherCAT. Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ideally you'll also have a familiarity with control systems and Linux, as well as experience with game/animation software like Unreal or Unity.
