Description

You will develop features and improvements for the backend of our SaaS application in Django / Django REST Framework and work on other microservices (including in FastAPI) – consistently using AI-supported development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to deliver faster and more efficiently.
As an experienced software developer, you coordinate with your colleagues in the backend team and all relevant stakeholders (product management, frontend development, UX, sales, etc.).
You actively drive our AI First Development Culture forward: You explore new tools, share best practices within the team, and help to meaningfully integrate AI into our daily workflows.
You will assist with the technical documentation of the product.
You will conduct AI-supported code reviews, assist with the use of AI tools in everyday development, and support the distribution of tickets and the management of development.

A completed degree in computer science, a related field of study with an IT focus, or completed training as an IT specialist in application development.
You have at least 3 years of relevant full-time professional experience.
You already have several years of experience with Python and backend development with Django / Django REST Framework; experience with other frameworks such as FastAPI is a plus.
You are confident in the design and development of REST APIs as well as in working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and ORM-based data modeling.
You are proficient in using AI-supported coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) and know how to critically evaluate their output and meaningfully integrate it into existing workflows.
You are keen to help shape our AI First culture – you try out new tools, share your experiences and help the team to work smarter.
Besides working from home, you also value the exchange with colleagues and the team spirit on site.
