At Siemens eMobility Charging, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to strengthen our digital backbone and support the energy transition through intelligent EV charging solutions. While your primary focus will be on software development, any experience with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS) will be a significant advantage. Your Role As a Senior Software Developer / DevOps Engineer, you will: Lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable software solutions for our cloud platforms. Collaborate closely with product owners and other developers to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, primarily in .NET Core. Optimize application performance, reliability, and security through best practices in software engineering. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions. Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of production infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Automate deployment, scaling, and operations to ensure high availability and performance. Standardize logging, monitoring, and observability with tools like Datadog. Continuously improve software development processes, infrastructure, and operational excellence. You Bring Degree in Computer Science or a related field. 5+ years of experience in professional software development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Expertise in .NET Core. Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices, like SOLID, clean code, design patterns, testing strategies, data structures, algorithms, and architectural patterns. Experience with MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL databases. Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills. Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)and understanding of cloud-native application development is a significant plus.
