Description

Senior Software Engineer
Location: Worcestershire
Our Client, a well established and growing Software Company are seeking a Senior Developer.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high quality software solutions
  • Write unit and integration tests for new and existing code
  • Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve issues, documenting fixes
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to peers
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practice
  • Support migration from legacy applications to modern platforms and standards
  • Liaise with international clients, turning requirements into clear technical specs
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and product innovation

Skills and experience

  • Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET, WPF/XAML and SQL
  • Background in ERP or other database-driven applications
  • Some front end or full stack experience is beneficial
  • Version control with Git or GitLab
  • Proven problem solving and critical analysis skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading other developers
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline preferred
