Your responsibilities

: - Further training and continuous knowledge building in the areas of security, quality, operations, and architecture, particularly regarding threat modeling, secure development lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10

- Development and implementation of technically complex software solutions for online, mobile, and portal applications based on customer requirements in agile development teams

- Programming and customizing technical components, interfaces, modules, and databases, as well as developing and integrating modern API solutions while adhering to development standards

- Implementation of test strategies and test automation, including code reviews, component and module tests, and bug fixing from the test phases

- Setting up development environments and optimizing automated build, test, and deployment processes within the framework of continuous integration and continuous delivery

- Use and evaluation of AI-supported tools to support software development, quality assurance, and documentation.

- Point of contact for customers and colleagues, as well as the creation of technical documentation, delivery packages, and presentations on complex topics.

Your profile

: - Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification

- Professional experience in the development of complex Java-based backend systems within larger IT projects, as well as in the technical design, further development, and maintenance of scalable software systems

- Experience in the development of modern microservice architectures based on Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, REST/JSON interfaces, and Maven, as well as with cloud-native architectures, public cloud platforms (ideally AWS, Kubernetes, or OpenShift), and asynchronous architectures and messaging systems such as ActiveMQ

- Knowledge of relational and cloud-based data storage solutions, especially PostgreSQL and cloud storage services such as AWS S3, as well as test automation and quality assurance with JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, Cucumber, and consumer-driven contract testing with Spring Cloud Contract

- Sound knowledge of the productive use of AI-supported development tools such as GitHub Copilot or comparable solutions to support software development, test automation, code analysis, documentation, and quality assurance

- Proficient use of modern development and DevOps tools such as GitLab, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, Jira, and Confluence

- Excellent written and spoken German skills

Please be aware that German is the working language in our project and good German language skills (level B2+) are a prerequisite for the position.
