NAPA Safety Solutions provides industry leading digital solutions for enhancing the safety and efficiency of ship operations, focusing on passenger ship segment. Our products are trusted by 10000+ users onboard the global fleet of international cruise ships. We are now looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Helsinki-based Stability Team to help us build safer seas. The team develops industry-leading onboard safety solutions – NAPA Stability, NAPA Emergency Computer – and supports the development of our advanced NAPA Fleet Intelligence cloud services.
In this role, you’ll work in a collaborative, highly skilled team alongside software developers, product owners, UX designers, and test engineers in an agile development environment. You’ll have the freedom and trust to manage your work, contribute ideas, and turn them into reliable, secure solutions that keep ships safe at sea.
This role is full-time and permanent. Your home base will be our office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki where you can work in hybrid mode. Direct interaction with our customers and end-user’s onboard ships is encouraged – we believe meeting real users makes our solutions better – but travel is always optional and flexible.

• Design and build robust software for safety-critical maritime operations
• Refine requirements, write clean code, review pull requests, and ensure high quality together with test engineers
• Contribute to both onboard desktop solutions (.NET, C#, WPF, ASP.NET Core) and, if you’re interested, our cloud services (AWS, Angular)
• Apply your cybersecurity expertise to meet the highest safety and compliance standards
• Work openly, share ideas, and deliver solutions as part of a trusted, supportive team
