Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join a dynamic and supportive Global Development team of 8 software engineers working across Denmark, Poland, and Kuala Lumpur. We are building and maintaining robust, enterprise-grade APIs that support our core business functions — operations, sales, and production systems. You will be based in Kuala Lumpur and report to a manager located in Denmark. Given our international setup, you should feel comfortable working independently at times, while still being a proactive and collaborative team member.
This role also includes the opportunity to act as a technical coordinator and mentor for the Kuala Lumpur team, helping to ensure smooth progress during hours when EU-based colleagues are offline. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys guiding others, fostering collaboration, and being a reliable, go-to person on the team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Work closely with a business analyst and solution architect, shaping and refining the product roadmap through close collaboration and open dialogue.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor to junior developers.
  • Act as a technical point of contact and sparring partner for your peers in the KL office.
  • Design, develop, and maintain key integration components between cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Create and manage scalable, reliable Enterprise APIs.
  • Work within a well-established Scrum development process.
  • Conduct and participate in thoughtful, constructive code reviews.
  • Be part of a positive, supportive team culture that values knowledge-sharing, respect, and fun.
  • Be part of a developer-on-duty rotation every 8th week by analysing and working on immediate incoming issues (working hours only).
