We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our iForms team. You bring strong technical expertise, deep application development experience, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions. You are someone who understands the big system picture while being hands-on with implementation details. You can effectively collaborate with engineering peers of all levels, product teams, and stakeholders, and you enjoy contributing to team growth by sharing knowledge, advancing technologies, and advocating best practices.

Your Role in Our Future

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend software systems for the iForms platform, including integration into the larger Quadient software ecosystem.
• Take ownership of significant features and components, from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and provide guidance to less experienced developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Apply and advocate for best practices in coding, dev testing, design, and technology selection.
• Optimize application performance, security, usability, and scalability.
• Participate in design discussions, architectural reviews, and code reviews.
• Stay informed about emerging frontend technologies and industry trends to keep the iForms platform modern and competitive.
• Create and maintain documentation for design decisions, system architecture, and technical specifications.
• Create solutions using modern tooling approaches, with strong attention to sustainability, testability, and advancing user experience

Your Profile

• 6–8 years of professional experience in software development designing and building web applications.
• Proven experience as a Senior Developer or in a similar advanced development role.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as Angular and Vue, and experience with runtime environments like Node.js.
• Solid understanding of scalable, performant, and user-friendly web application design principles.
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, with exposure to additional programming languages being a plus.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
• Experience in agile development environments with a strong attention to best practices around code testing, code review, and delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, with a focus on improving quality and delivery processes.
• Strong communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with both backend and frontend development is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

This position has a salary range of $102,500.00 - $128,100.00 - $150,800.00 CAD Annual
