INTRODUCTION
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the analysis, design, integration, development, and implementation of enterprise-level IT systems in a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and robust multi-platform solutions aligned with public sector best practices.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience in IT systems development across various environments (web, desktop, mobile, mainframe).
- Strong expertise in multi-tiered open-standard technologies including:
- JSP/Servlet, JEE, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JMS
- XML, JSON, REST, SOAP Web Services
- Struts Framework, Oracle Designer, WebSphere, WebLogic
- SUN Solaris, Windows Server (2008/2012), .NET
ANALYTICAL & PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
- Strong debugging, optimization, and refactoring capabilities.
- Experience resolving complex technical issues and leading solution evaluations.
- Ability to design for scalability, performance, and security.
COMMUNICATION & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with internal and external teams.
- Capable of multitasking across multiple concurrent assignments.
PUBLIC SECTOR EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of government policies, directives, privacy, and security standards.
- Familiarity with architecture artifact standards and governance.
