Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, configuring, and integrating Siebel applications while also contributing to Oracle E-Business and reporting solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Siebel, Oracle technologies, and reporting tools, along with proven experience in troubleshooting, system integration, and technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Translate technical system specifications into fully tested, working applications.
- Develop programming specifications, generate code, and compile data-driven programs.
- Conduct unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical assistance for implementation, conversion, and migration.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications using structured methodologies.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Perform application design, deployment, and troubleshooting using the latest design patterns.
- Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies, query languages, and communication protocols.
- Elicit and document requirements from diverse business stakeholders.
- Provide post-implementation support, including resolution of technical issues and enhancements.
- Lead and participate in design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
Required Skills and Experience
Siebel Development Skills
- Experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
- Experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and related technologies.
- Experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
- Experience with Siebel IP18 (configuration and development).
- Hands-on expertise with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens, and Siebel Business Layer objects.
- Proficiency in Siebel Tools and Web Template editing.
- Strong knowledge of Siebel Open UI (Architecture, Physical Model, Presentation Model, OOTB file structures).
- Experience in UI integration (embedding/exposing Siebel with external applications).
- Experience configuring Siebel migration applications and administering Siebel Approval Manager.
- Siebel 8.x or higher certification.
Report Development Skills
- Experience developing reports with OBIEE and Power BI.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Siebel Open UI concepts (PM, PR, Manifest, Mapping files).
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in large teams and collaborate with technical and functional groups.

Public Sector Experience
- Experience with Siebel Public Sector modules such as CRM, Contracts, Partner Management, Public Sector Partner Portal, Campaign Management, Marketing, and Resource Manager.
- Experience with Grants Management is an asset.
Additional Skills for Oracle Development
- Experience assessing Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions.
- Strong programming skills in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix Shell Scripting, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Business knowledge of GL, AR, Collections, AP, and Inventory modules of Oracle E-Business.
- Expertise in Oracle E-Business table structures and SQL tuning.
- Experience with Data Warehousing, ETL methodologies, and OBIEE.
- Knowledge of Java and Oracle ADF is an asset.
- Experience conducting impact assessments and providing QA oversight from a technical perspective.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
- Siebel integration with Adobe AEM, J2EE, etc.
- Siebel EIM/EAI experience.
- Proven experience in OBIEE and Power BI report development.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Grants Management.
- Hands-on experience in n-tier web-based application development using Oracle database.
