We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing n-tier enterprise applications using Java Enterprise technologies and will be responsible for transforming legacy applications to a cloud-based platform. This is a hybrid role with 6-month contract extension and candidate MUST work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Over 10 years of experience in developing n-tier enterprise applications using Java Enterprise technologies.
• Expertise in application design, latest design patterns, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in transforming legacy applications to cloud platforms like AWS.
• Extensive hands-on development with Java EE, JPA or Hibernate, and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency with databases and SQL, with expertise in Azure Cosmos DB, Postgres, Oracle, and PL/SQL highly desirable.
• Proficient in Eclipse IDE or Rational Application Developer.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and JQuery.
• Agile development experience is a nice-to-have.

• Translate technical system specifications into functional, tested applications.
• Develop detailed programming specifications, write and generate code, and conduct unit tests.
