Working to support high quality practices, plan and build functional, integration, system and acceptance tests, both manual and automated. You'll be a key part of the team responsible for building a world class SSE solution. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for: * Executing the complete QA process: collecting specifications, creating test plans, automating tests with PyTest, and integrating into CICD pipelines. * Creating and applying new approaches and concepts, including AI, to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing practices. * Designing testing tools, which include developing scripts to enhance regression testing. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: * Have a solid QA testing experience * Have an advanced knowledge of scripting languages including Python, shell script, SQL, and REST API * Have advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ArgoWF, ArgoCD, Clickhouse, S3, Kafka, Terraform, Kibana, and Grafana * Demonstrate experience in testing of BigData Backend Distributed systems * Have experience working with Cloud Platform(s) AWS, GCP, Azure * Have experience working with AI tools such as Clude-code, Co-Pilot * Have a good understanding on networking protocols and technologies (especially HTTP, HTTPS, DNS) About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
